The western Nepalese village has long been a favorite of both domestic and foreign visitors, and it is regarded as a must-stop along the Annapurna Circuit Trek. The majestic Annapurna mountain and a magnificent sunrise and dusk are both visible from Ghandruk. The Ghandruk village's wonderful Gurung culture, lovely community, geographical diversity, and breathtaking mountain views are what make it so well-known.
Ghandruk village is located in the Kaski district, in between Lumle and Dangsing village. It sits at an altitude of 2012m above sea level. The main income source of the people of Ghandruk is tourism. They are promoting village tourism by providing neat home stays which are better than star hotels in the city area. They provide organic quality food, clean bed, and toilet for the visitors with very fine hospitality.
In the Kaski district, between Lumle and Dangsing village, is Ghandruk hamlet located 2012m above sea level. Tourism is Ghandruk's primary source of revenue. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Nilgiri 7041m, Fishtail/Machhapuchhare 6998m, Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7939m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna south 7219m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Lamjung Himal 6986m, and other peaks can all be seen from Ghandruk Village. Other delightful sights include the courtyards, stone-roofed homes, a museum, and Buddhist temples. Before approaching Ghandruk village, visitors traveling outside the country must apply for TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) and ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) permits.

Day 1 :Kathmandu to Pokhara to Ghandruk
It takes around 7 hours of drive to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. You can rest for while in Pokhara and then again you have to drive for around 3 hours, 40 km. to reach Ghandruk. You will be staying at Hotel Rock and Mud.
Day 2 :Ghandruk exploration and overnight in Pokhara
Today, after having breakfast you can visit the beautiful Ghandruk village and observe the Gurung cultural museum here. Then after having lunch, drive back to Pokhara. You will be staying overnight at Hotel Dandelion, a luxurious four-star hotel, and have dinner there.
Day 3 :Pokhara to Kathmandu
In the early morning, you can visit Sarangkot hill to experience the beautiful sunrise then return to the hotel and have your breakfast. After having breakfast, you will leave for Kathmandu. On the way, you can visit Begnas lake and have lunch there and again drive to Kathmandu.
At roughly 2,000 meters, Ghandruk is a mountain settlement in the Modi Khola Valley. The town is a key recruitment center for the famed Gurkha warriors, as well as the headquarters of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which promotes a wide range of environmental programs.
In Nepal’s Annapurna range, Ghandruk is a popular trekking destination (Annapurna Base camp and Annapurna Circuit treks, in particular). The village is also the entryway to the Poon hill, with views of Mt Annapurna, Mt Machapuchare, Gangapurna, and Mt Hiunchuli.
The road distance is only 60 KM away from Pokhara and it takes approx 3 hours due to having off-road from Nayapool to Ghandruk.
It takes about 10 hours hiking to reach Ghandruk from Ghorepani Poonhill.
Initially, it was famous for Homestay but nowadays good hotels are also coming with modern amenities.
