Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Lumbini

Our journey begins at 7 a.m. from Kathmandu. The trip is estimated to take approximately 8–9 hours to cover the distance of around 300 km to reach Lumbini. We will make two meal stops on the way, breakfast at 9 a.m. and lunch at 12 p.m. After the long drive, we anticipate arriving in Lumbini between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. We will check-in to a hotel near the Lumbini area for our stay.

Day 2: Explore Lumbini and Siddhartha Gautam’s Palace

Wake up early and have breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Today, we will explore Lumbini and the palace of Gautam Buddha's father, Suddhodana, where Buddha spent his childhood. At 8:00 AM, we will first visit Tilaurakot, Kapilvastu, which is 27 km west of Lumbini. After Tilaurakot, we will return to Lumbini to explore the holy place for the rest of the day. We will have lunch on our way back. After learning about the life of Buddha, we will return to our hotel and have dinner at 8:00 p.m.

Day 3: Return to Kathmandu

Start the day with breakfast at 7 a.m. After breakfast, we will depart for the capital city. We will stop for lunch along the highway at 12 p.m. Expect to arrive back in Kathmandu after a full day of driving, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
