Best Season-Annapurna Basecamp trek
Annapurna Basecamp trek can be done in pre-monsoon i.e. February, March, April, and May, and post-monsoon i.e. September, October, November, and early December. You can also trek in January but the cold up there will be enormous to handle and might make your trek difficult because of snow on the trail. Itinerary-Annapurna Base Camp trek
Day1: Arrival in Kathmandu
After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our representative from the office will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.
Day2: Sightseeing Kathmandu and Trek Preparation
The next day after having your breakfast in the hotel, you can visit Swyambhunath Stupa, Bouddhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and other nearby places. You can also buy or rent a trekking bag, boots, trekking sticks, and other essential gear at Thamel for a safe and easy Annapurna Basecamp Trek.
Day3: Drive to Pokhara(827m) to Ghandruk(1940m)
After your breakfast at the hotel, a private vehicle will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the Pokhara. The driving hour from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 6 hours and then you will not stop at Pokhara. After a 4-5 hours drive from Pokhara, Ghandruk can be reached. You will be staying the night in Ghandruk. You can see the beauty of Ghandruk Village surrounded by mountains.
Day4: Ghandruk to Chhomrong(2170m)
From today your trekking will start. You have to trek for 5-6 hours. The trail is a little difficult because you have to climb a lot and have less straight land. The best way is you make your pace slow and don’t stop. Don’t worry mother nature will continuously motivate you with her beauty. You can have lunch in Komrong Danda. You can see beautiful green landscapes wearing a Fogg scarf and views of Mt.Fishtail along with the Mardi Himal.
Day5: Chhomrong to Bamboo(2310m)
The second day of the trek will be a little easier because of the less steep climb with some downhills and more straight land. You have to trek for 5-6 hours. The trail will amaze you with the beautiful waterfalls out of nowhere passing through your way. The view you see now and then will be rewarded. There is a wide range of waterfalls all over.
Day6: Bamboo to Deurali(3230m)
The route to Deurali is a bit adventurous. You have a trek for 5-6 hours. You can see beautiful waterfalls flowing through the enormous green hills. Again the trail will surprise you with lots of unimaginable beauty. You can also see snow caves on the way. You have to take care of your health because altitude might hit you badly.
Day7: Deurali to Annapurna Basecamp(4,130m)
The air gets thinner and the climate gets colder. You have to trek for 5-6 hours. You can see the pleasant sights of Mountain peaks like Fishtail, Annapurna South, Annapurna second, and Hiunchuli. Different types of flora can be seen here. Sheep and yaks around along with the Himalayan dogs having six fingers can be seen. You will stay overnight at Annapurna Basecamp.
Day8: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
The trek is nearly finished. The hard and climbing part has also nearly come to end. You will be trekking for 7-8 hours today to reach Bamboo.
Day9:Bamboo to Jhinu Danda(1760m)
Today, you will be retracing your steps descending through the Rhododendron and Bamboo forests. You can also experience hot springs. You will rest at a lodge in Jhinu Danda.
Day10: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara
The trek to Nayapul will take 6 hours. A jeep you hired will come to pick you up at Nayapul and after 1-hour drive, you will be at Pokhara.
Day11: Sightseeing in Pokhara/ Drive back to Kathmandu
On this day you can either visit Pokhara and relax or you can drive back to Kathmandu. The Kathmandu to Pokhara drive will take 6 hours.
Day12: Final Departure
Our vehicle will drive you to the Tribhuvan International airport.
