Know About Kushma
Kushma is the name of one of the most beautiful places and tourist destinations in Nepal. It is the headquarters of the Parbat district, located in the Gandaki province. It sits at an elevation of 1,294 meters and is situated approximately 61 km from Pokhara and 12 km from Baglung.
Kushma is particularly famous for hosting the country's highest and longest suspension bridge, which connects with Gyadichour in Baglung. Hence, this bridge is known as the Kushma-Gyadi catenary suspension footbridge. It was opened in early 2010 and spans 384 feet (117 m) above the Madi River, covering a distance of 1,128 feet (344 m).
Know About Kushma Bungee Jump
Speaking of Kushma bungee jump has been operated by the adventure company, The Cliff Nepal, since October 31, 2020, following the first lockdown in Nepal caused by COVID-19. It stands at a height of 228 m above the Kali Gandaki River and is the world's second-highest bungee spot after AJ Hackett's Bungy Jump at Macau Tower.
The Kushma bungee jump spot is located on a bridge that stretches 520 meters from one side of the hill to the other. It has body weight limitations of a minimum of 45 kg and a maximum of 98 kg, with a free fall duration of 4.5 seconds.
